Okay, this Second Saturday Art Walk just so happens to fall on Valentine’s Day. I am not a huge fan of this holiday (and no, I am not bitter and single. I am happily married). I am, however, a huge fan of Pomona’s Second Saturday art walk (and by now, most of you probably know that about me)!

Here are snippets on some of the events going on at the Art Walk tomorrow:

Loft Beats Art Gallery will be hosting an inclusive art installation that features  special guests, readers, writers and much more:

SPACE Pomona will be unveiling their installation “Future Happenings” curated by Cheyene Ellett:

The dA Center for the Arts will be hosting their annual “Simply Red” Installation with many talented artists from around the globe. Their opening reception will be held this evening (Friday) and will be raising funds for the da Center. A $15 dollar donation gets you in to view the installation before the public. Proceeds for the tickets benefit the dA for its community programs that enrich the local community. Simply Red will be open to the public on February 14th.

The LOFT on 2nd is proud to celebrate the innovation, art and strength of Pan Africans past, present and future. For the third year, they present a very special show entitled, “We Journey”. Los Angeles resident artist, Queen Ifawuyi Shamala Bennu Auset will be the featured artist.

The SCA Project Gallery members invite all to join them in celebrating the installation “The Things We Love”. Each participating member artist was asked to invite a friend or two to exhibit this month. The featured member artist this month is Joseph Palmieri – who has six of his works in their member alcove.
Opening reception will be this Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 6-9 pm with wine & chocolate!

dba256 Wine Gallery will be hosting their installation entitled “Love this” featuring many different artists and masters of craft. Live music, wine and art to be had by all. I will have some of my own work up at dba256 (and at Loft Beats)!

Wine, art, friendship and love? There is so much to see and do, so why go anywhere else?
