Glass House Throwback: Tool

I am on a mission. On a mission to find every major band/musician that has made their way 30 Miles East.

The Glass House is indeed one of the most popular venues in our region, and has hosted its share of notable acts.

The first featured artist in this small segment is Tool. An incredibly worthy throwback indeed.

I dug up this video of Tool at the Glass House in 1996 for their Aenema tour.

I traveled from East LA to Pomona to catch this show with my friends. I remember Maynard being his creepy self and hearing a track of bleating goats (Tool’s specialty). Before the show, we wandered into an art gallery nearby. An artist was displaying artwork that involved a previous lover’s pubic hair. Wow! Got to love artists. Good times in Pomona, for sure! Thanks for the memories.

    • I wish I could’ve been at that show. It sounds like you had quite the evening! Fortunately, the Pomona Arts Colony and the artists featured have greatly evolved from obsessions with genital hair. I am so thankful for that. Hopefully you can catch an art show out in Pomona soon! Thanks for stopping by, Denise!
