Christina Franco Long, Owner & Curator of SPACE Pomona shared her mission and featured artwork with 30 Miles East:

SPACE Pomona is an experiential art gallery established in June of 2012 by Christina FrancoLong and her husband, Stephen Long, with the vision of curating and presenting the work of emerging and established artists from the Los Angeles area and beyond. Since its inaugural show in October of 2012, SPACE has presented more than a dozen exhibitions, ranging from fine art and documentary photography, to feminist printmaking, to neo-pop paintings loaded with references to religion and mass culture. Through exhibition and performance, SPACE endeavors not only to foster the community’s appreciation and understanding of art, but also to promote further discussion on a wide range of humanistic topics. In addition to exhibitions of visual art, SPACE Pomona hosts live music, art talks, and workshops. The gallery is also home to the Pomona Photographic Society, and in 2014 will offer darkroom rental services to students and professionals. SPACE POMONA is located at: 250 West Second StreetPomona, CA 91766909.623.1694
